Paradise Paddlers the "southernmost" 

ABOUT US! 

Started in the fall of 1997, Paradise Paddlers has near 200 members mostly hailing from Southern Florida to Key West but some from far away places such as Colorado and Canada. It is a great way to meet new friends who you can share and enjoy your paddling experiences with. There are many trips posted throughout the year from Full Moon outings to multi-day trips in the Everglades and as far away as Alaska. Trip stories written by our members are posted on our website monthly and are archived and accessible for future use. Paradise Paddlers are also stewards of the environment volunteering for clean-up efforts and other issues. There are other annual events such as our Christmas Party and the Key Largo Christmas Boat Parade where we participate in our lighted and decorated kayaks and canoes. The annual Club Picnic, a gathering of Florida Paddling Clubs is also a great time!

To become a member it's simple! You will need to complete and submit a membership application and release of liability along with a donation of $10 per family per year. The donation goes towards the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. Renewals are appreciated annually in January. Please make checks payable to OGT Foundation. Contributions to the club in the way of stories, trips, instruction or anything fun you have to offer are always appreciated and is what the club is all about.

As a member, trip information, classifieds, stories and other information regarding paddling activities will be sent to you via e-mail. Any offerings or information that a Paradise Paddler would like to share with our members may send it to  monica.woll@dep.state.fl.us 

Club T-shirts and Hats are available for $10 each.
