The best time for visiting South Florida is during the dry season between the months of November and April. Winter skies are predictably sunny. Air temperatures range in the mid 70s to mid 80s and water temperatures average mid 70s. Cold fronts passing through during the winter season can drop temperatures below 50 degrees and usually accompanied by high winds.
Summer temperatures range in the high 80s to mid 90s. Thunderstorms and insects prevail in the Everglades during the summer. We suggest day outings in the Keys or overnight inn to inn trips. Sunglasses, hats, sunscreen and plenty of water is necessary all times of the year. Visit the local NOAA weather report on-line.
