To truly experience the Everglades National Park one would have to spend many days, weeks or longer traveling about it's vast wilderness. We realize that everyone may not have time to join us on an extended multi-day tour so we put together a one-day excursion that will give you a handsome share of this valuable treasure. This one-day trip includes a bit of paddling, hiking and the longest scenic drive through the prairies, pinelands, hammocks, dwarf cypress and mangroves bringing us to the park town of Flamingo. Flamingo is located at the southern tip of mainland Florida overlooking the beautiful mangrove islands of Florida Bay.
During this one day excursion we will do our best to introduce you to some of its inhabitants. Alligators are common, the american crocodile most likely, manatees a possibility and usually a dolphin or two. The birding is excellent especially during the winter months where many bird species make this sub-tropical landscape their wintering homes.
