Spend the day exploring the natural beauty of the keys and discover the amazingly rich history these tiny islands have to offer. We will meet with an on-site naturalist on Lignumvitae Key for a visit to the Matheson House and a tour of the island. Lunch will be served on the gazebo out on Indian Key to enjoy the ocean view and the Atlantic breeze.
Afterwards we will explore the ruins of a small community that once thrived on the island. If weather permits, snorkeling on the nearby San Pedro wreck can be a possibility.
